Ideal for both business and leisure travelers, this suite is designed with utmost relaxation in mind. With a glass of wine in hand, relax on the terrace as you savor the daily magnificent sunsets, unique to Park Hyatt Zanzibar because of its location on the West side of the island. You may also enjoy the dramatic views of fishermen leaving the harbor only to come back in the following morning with delicious fish or seafood for you to indulge in for lunch or dinner.

Park Suite 1000

When you book a Park Suite, be sure to request for Park Suite 1000. Located in the UNESCO heritage appointed building housing one wing of Park Hyatt Zanzibar, this suite faces the cool courtyard from where the building is centered. Legend has it that Sheikh Salim al Harthi who built this building in 1847, would stand on the terrace of this suite and admire the beauty of his wives as they made their hair or cooled off in the courtyard below. The art in this suite is quintessential and quite unique compared to the rest of the art in the hotel. Park Suite 1000 is more spacious than the other Park suites, includes a dining area and enjoys the exclusivity of a private staircase on the farthest end of the building.

Zanzibar Suite

Experience mystique with an exquisite touch of luxury in our Zanzibar Suite. An ocean facing suite where it indicates in oral history that in 1873, the body of renowned explorer, pioneer medical missionary and anti-slavery crusader David Livingstone rested while awaiting transportation to Britain for burial. Situated in the UNESCO heritage appointed building which was built in 1847, the Zanzibar Suite is a replica of a traditional Zanzibari home, features an Omani-style king size bed with hints of European elements in the suite and is an alluring indication of 19th century living. In the evenings while waiting for the sunset on the terrace, you will get entertained by Zanzibari youth playing local beach football on the beach in front of the hotel.
